Work taking place at Royal Bolton Hospital means that a number of services will be moving in the coming days and weeks.
Modernisation work is taking place in part of the hospital complex
To facilitate their latest project, a number of services are being relocated on either a temporary or permanent basis.
A spokesman said: "A small number of services at Royal Bolton Hospital will be relocating from their current spaces in the coming days and weeks.
"The moves are part of refurbishment works to help us prepare our buildings and estate for the future, and provide Bolton communities with access to modern health facilities equipped with the latest technology."
For general outpatients, the services will be relocating from J Block to N Block on the hospital site, dermatology will be relocating from J Block to N Block on the hospital site, sexual health will be relocating from N Block on the hospital site to Crompton Health Centre and clinical psychology will be relocating from N Block on the hospital site to Great Lever Health Centre.
Patients who already have an appointment booked will receive text messages both seven days before their visit to confirm details of where they need to attend and how to get there and patients with a booked appointment who have opted-out of text messages and/or digital letters will be contacted via telephone.
Patients who receive new appointments after services have relocated will be sent a digital letter with up-to-date details of where they need to attend and how to get there.
Temporary signs will be installed to help patients and visitors easily navigate their way around the hospital site.
A full list of services and up-to-date contact details can be found on Bolton NHS Foundation Trust’s website.
