A Bolton man has been penalised for failing to tell police who was behind the wheel of a vehicle.
The driver of a Mercedes Benz was alleged to have been involved in an offence in Bradford.
Asab Mehboob was instructed to idenfity the driver of the vehicle in December last year.
However the 28-year-old failed to do so.
The case against him was proved at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court.
Mehbood, from Ashby Close, Farnworth, did not attend at court.
Following the outcome he was fined £660 and ordered to pay further costs of £354.
Mehboob was ordered to pay costs within a month of the case coming to court.
He was also given six points on his licence.
