Police officers pulled over a car after witnessing the state of the motorist's driving, and seeing a child being d4ropped off.
The incident happened this morning.
The car was seized after checks found it had no insurance and the driver had just a provisional driving licence.
A spokesman for GMP said: “Traffic PCSOs patrolling in Daubhill saw this vehicle driven erratically this morning Vehicle followed to a cul de sac nearby.
“Driver dropped off a young child.
“Enquiries made, driver had a provisional DL and was uninsured.
“Vehicle seized s165 by GMP traffic.”
This comes as police crack down on car crime in Bolton, including uninsured cars.
Recently, police stopped an Audi S3 on Blackburn Road for no insurance.
GMP carry out regular controls to crack down on drivers, including speeding enforcement.
