Fire fighters were called to a major road in Bolton this morning to free a man stuck behind barriers on a bridge.
Fire crews from Bolton Central Fire Station were called to the intersection of St Peters Way and Bradford Street at around 3.10am after a man was reported on the wrong side of the barrier.
Watch Manager Darren Collier said firefighters were joined by crews from North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) to attend the incident at the two major town centre roads.
Emergency services attended the scene for around and hour before leaving and no one has been reported an injured.
North West Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
