Police have charged two men from Bolton after several Mercedes vehicles were stolen last year.
Joshua Phelps, 27, of Levens Drive, Breightmet, and Craig Morley, 36, of Highwood Close, Breightmet, appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court today, Friday.
The thefts took place in Bolton between September and October 2022.
Phelps was charged with seven counts of theft of motor vehicle, two counts of attempt theft of motor vehicle, dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
Morley was charged with two counts of theft of a motor vehicle, one count of attempt theft of a motor vehicle, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Two men from Bolton have appeared at Wigan Magistrates' Court charged with multiple offences linked to the keyless theft of Mercedes vehicles in Bolton between September and October 2022.”
