A Motown and soul event is coming to a Bolton venue next weekend.
The musical event will be taking place at the Mercure Bolton Georgian House on the Easter bank holiday weekend on Saturday, 8 April.
The DJ will be the former Wigan Casino DJ Russ Winstanley, who was known for championing Northern Soul music before its closure in 1981.
Organiser Irene Harper said: “I used to work at a hotel for years and tried to build up the events there, I decided to organise a Motown night because a lot of people follow Motown and with it being a bank holiday weekend, people might be able to attend.
“We’ve had a ladies night before now which was really good and a great success.”
Tickets will cost £8.50 each.
People can pay on the door and the event will start at 7.30pm and finish around 1am.
