Three lifelong Wanderers fans have had their "dreams come true" as their boiler installation company will be sponsoring their team for the Papa Johns Trophy final at Wembley.
Bolton businessmen, Rick Hope, Stephen Day and James Lovatt own nationwide online boiler installation company iHeat and are feeling privileged at the opportunity to support their home team.
Mr. Hope is to this day, along with his young son, a season ticket holder.
He said: “It’s a dream come true, I’ve followed the Wanderers since I was a little lad, we’ve all got our tickets sorted, it feels amazing sharing this experience with my business partners.”
iHeat will proudly provide shirt sleeve sponsorship for the momentous occasion having previously done so for the triumphant cup semi-final, as well as BWFC match-ball sponsorship on multiple occasions.
Bolton-based iHeat operates just minutes away from the University of Bolton Stadium, home of the Wanderers.
iHeat’s connection to BWFC runs deep, with several employees working at the stadium in their youth.
Dedicated iHeat staff have also camped out overnight at the ground in aid of two charities, Bolton Wanderers in the Community and Urban Outreach.
BWFC are facing tough opposition in the final from League One leaders Plymouth Argyle.
Around 34,000 Wanderers supporters will be heading to the capital.
Bolton have been drawn in the "lucky" East dressing room and been given permission to wear their white home kit, with Plymouth in their grey and mint third kit.
