Singing superstar Heather Small rolled back the years in a special appearance at a charity ball in Bolton.
The headline act – known by most as the voice of M People - belted out all her classics including Moving on Up and One Night in Heaven.
She certainly didn’t disappoint at the Backup North West annual charity ball at Bolton Stadium Hotel on Saturday, March 18.
Entertainment was also provided from Preston-based vocalist Dani Wallace who supported Heather.
Double BAFTA winning actor, writer and comedian, Sophie Willan, from Bolton, joined in on the special night too and danced the night away with guests.
More than 300 people enjoyed a night of fundraising, food, laughter with stand-up comedy from the CEO Maura Jackson.
Maura said: “The night was electric, amazing entertainment from Preston based vocalist Dani Wallace who supported the headline act, Heather Small.
“Heather Small, who did not disappoint, did this event as a gift to the charity.
“The whole night has been a resounding success, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, our guests have been amazing and so generous.
“Heather Small gave her time for the weekend to help us and we loved every minute of her set.
“We absolutely had the answer when she asked us ‘what have you done today to make you feel proud?’
“The money we raised tonight will save lives in Bolton- young people who are homeless will benefit from every penny raised.”
The charity ball managed to raise an impressive £10,000.
Presenter Michael Thompson kept the night going and one lucky raffle winner took home a wheelbarrow full of booze.
The Bolton-based charity supports young people who are or are at risk of homelessness.
Its balls are also legendary, having previously staged a Peaky Blinders themed ball.
