A man was rescued early today, Wednesday, after a crash between a car and five parked cars in Ainsworth.
Firefighters were called to Church Street at around 4.30am following the collision.
Paramedics also attended and are reported to have rescued a man from a car and treated him there.
Fire crews used specialist equipment, including a Hearth Kit and cutting equipment to make the vehicle safe.
Pictures of cars taken following the crash show an extensive amount of damage has been caused to them.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “At around 4.30am this morning, Wednesday, March 22, a fire engine from Bury central fire station was called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car hitting five parked vehicles on Church Street, Ainsworth.”
“The crews arrived quickly at the scene.
“Firefighters used a Hearth Kit and cutting equipment to make the vehicles safe.
“Colleagues from North West Ambulance Service rescued one man from a vehicle and treated them at the scene.
“Firefighters were in attendance for around 30 minutes.”
North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for comments.
