Food hygiene inspectors have rated two eateries in the latest round of inspections.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have rated both eateries a two out of five rating.
Medirest Healthcare Compass Group at Beaumont Hospital, a café at Old Hall Clough, Lostock, was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 8.
The inspection report states the management of food safety is generally satisfactory and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is very good whilst improvement is necessary for the hygienic food handling.
Golden Chopsticks, a takeaway at 471 Leigh Road, Westhoughton, was also given a score of two on February 8.

The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling, and the management of food safety are generally satisfactory while improvement is necessary for the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building.
