A road will be closed at the end of this month for resurfacing works.
Anchor Lane in Farnworth will be closed from April 1 for approximately three weeks whilst works take place on the road.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Anchor Lane from Highfield Road to Newcombe Drive to allow resurfacing to take place.
An alternate route for traffic will be via Albert Road, Buckley Lane, Cleggs Lane and Old Lane.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
