A fire broke out at a public car park in Bolton in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters from Bolton North Fire Station were called to the scene on Browns Road, Bradley Fold at around 2.30am on Friday March 10.
There they found a car fire underway in a car park.
Watch Manager Glyn McGann said: “We were called out at around 2.30am, one car was already completely destroyed by the fire.
“Police have been informed and we were on the scene for about 45 minutes.”
The public car park is close to a fishing complex on Browns Road and is often used by people visiting the area.
The crews used a single fire appliance from Bolton North fire station and managed to extinguish the blaze in under an hour.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire or any further damage to the surrounding area.
As yet the emergency services have not determined the cause of the fire.

In the event of a fire or any other emergency members of the public have been urged to always call 999 as soon as it is safe to do so.
