People are being warned to plan ahead with a road closure and traffic restriction set to take place in Bolton.
There will be a traffic restriction in place on De Havilland Way for two days on Saturday, April 1 due to electricity works taking place.
This will mean that traffic will be unable to turn left on to Lostock Lane.
Diversion signs will be in place to make it easier for drivers.
Church Street in Westhoughton will also be closed from Monday, March 27 for approximately five days to allow telecom works to be carried out.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Church Street from The Mortons to James Street.
There will be an alternate route for traffic, which will be on Manchester Road, Park Road, and Cricketers Way.
To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
