A road remains taped off in Farnworth after a crash between a a van and a motorbike this afternoon.
Police say the collision took place on Lavender Road in Farnworth.
Lavender Road was cordoned off at its junction with Tulip Avenue and also at its junction with Harper Green Road.
Begonia Avenue, which leads onto Lavender Road, is also taped off.

A resident told The Bolton News that the crash took place at around midday, and that the motorcyclist could be seen on the floor.
A motorbike could also be seen on the pavement on Lavender Road near to its junction with Begonia Avenue.
Police and paramedics were on scene at around 1pm. The paramedics left at just before 1.30pm.

A GMP spokesperson said: "It looks like a collision between a van and a motorbike. Any injuries sustained are not life threatening.
"The serious collision unit are aware of the incident and are dealing with it."
A local resident said: "There was a crowd of people. I could see the motorcyclist on the floor covered in a blanket and with people around him.
"He looked in a lot of pain.

"An air ambulance landed at the Cricket Club. I helped flag it down.
"It happened at around noon."
