Building work on one of the biggest projects Bolton has seen in recent years is set to enter its next phase this week.
The £20million Bolton College of Medical Sciences is currently under construction on the site of Royal Bolton Hospital on Minerva Road, Farnworth.
The next stage of building work will begin on March 7 and focus on floor installation, with managers warning that this may involve some extra noise in the evenings.
A statement from Bolton NHS Foundation Trust said: “Given the size of each floor area, it may mean that on days when concrete is being poured, the works may continue in the evening, outside of normal construction hours.
“This may mean there is some additional noise in evening in the coming weeks.
“Please be assured this is temporary.
“The project team will do everything they can to minimise disturbance to you and other residents, and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
