A law firm has announced plans to help people "safeguard their family’s future" with a free wills seminar.

Clough and Willis has offices in both Little Lever and Bury with the free wills and lasting power of attorney event set to be open to anyone living in the area.

The seminar will be held at the firm’s office on Manchester Road, Bury on Wednesday March 22.

Associate solicitor Ryan Browne said: “Writing a will is essential for safeguarding your family’s financial future after you die.

“Getting it wrong could mean that your will is invalid, potentially leading to legal disputes for your family to get what was rightfully left to them.

“Whilst A Lasting Power of Attorney is legal tool that you can use to appoint someone you know and trust to take control of, or assist you with, your financial or personal welfare decisions should you be unable to manage your own affairs, whether temporarily or permanently, due to illness, physical impairment or mental incapacity.”
