Firefighters were called to reports of a van on fire in Farnworth in the early hours of this morning.
Two fire engines from Farnworth Fire Station were at the scene on Cawdor Street at 3.30am, where a van was on fire which had spread to the door and ground floor windows of two domestic properties.
Properties were evacuated whilst firefighters used breathing apparatus and three hose reels to extinguish the fire.

A Greater Manchester and Fire Rescue Service spokesperson said: “At around 03:30am this morning (Saturday, March 4) firefighters were called to reports of a van on fire on Cawdor Street in Farnworth, Bolton.
“Two fire engines from Farnworth fire station quickly arrived at the scene, where the fire had spread to the door and ground floor windows of two domestic properties on the street.
"The properties were evacuated while firefighters used breathing apparatus and three hose reels to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for around two and a half hours.”
