Staff at Royal Bolton Hospital have been looking after themselves by taking part in a health and wellbeing week.
Staff in Bolton’s Family Care Division have been focusing on their physical and mental health and wellbeing.
The trust says it believes that by looking after their staff's wellbeing, they are also helping to improve the care patients receive.
The five themes of the week have been concentrated around health, inclusivity, nutrition, fitness, and mental health and wellbeing.
Staff have had mini health checks and shared healthy recipies.
There has also been menopause support and a men's health MOT
Tracy Iles, Family Care Division Director of Operations at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Making sure our staff are well looked after is key to providing the highest levels of care for our patients and the communities of Bolton.
“Our wellbeing week is highlighting how we all need to take care of our own health and wellbeing and should give practical advice to improve physical health as well as providing opportunities for people to discuss their mental health.”
Bolton’s Family Care Division provides a wide and diverse range of services for adults and children throughout Bolton and beyond.
