Bolton police crossed the border as the crackdown on anti-social behaviour on public transport continued last night - with a juvenile arrested after being found with drugs.
Police across Greater Manchester have been cracking down on crime on the public transport network, including at Bolton Interchange and Radcliffe tram station.
A spokesman for GMP Bolton South said: “Uniform and plain clothes officers from the #GMPTransportUnit patrolled #Rochdale interchange tonight.

“A juvenile was detained and found with Class B drugs, scales and snap bags so was arrested for Possession With Intent to Supply and is now spending the night in the cells.”
The Greater Manchester Travel Safe operation has been ongoing to tackle crime in the area since April last year.
The operation is partnership between Transport for Greater Manchester and Greater Manchester Police.
In January, police made a number of arrests while patrolling the interchange the Bolton town centre.
