Paddy McGuiness is set to star in a new game show.
The Bolton funny-man has been announced as the host of new Channel 4 show, Tempting Fortune, where 12 strangers will head to South Africa to to be in with a chance of winning £300,000.
Contestants will be stranded and will be ‘tempted’ with comfy beds, taxis, and fine food.
Paddy shared a picture on Instagram with the caption: “Can I tempt you? Coming real soon.”
The show will mean Paddy returns to Channel 4 where he first started his career on Phoenix Nights with fellow Bolton comedian Peter Kay.
Paddy also posted a picture while filming in South Africa, saying: “Very grateful to call this work. Not a bad office to be in.”
The Take Me Out star is usually highly active on social media, often posting stories and posts with funny captions.
In December last year, Paddy returned to Bolton to join charity Homeless Aid to throw a Christmas party helping those suffering homelessness and going without food.
At the time, he told The Bolton News: “I'm just here to say hello, I’m minimal, these are the guys are the ones that do it 24/7 and the only thing I can offer here is selfies.
“I've known Billa, the Co-Founder of Homeless Aid since I was a kid, he lived on the next street to me.
“I was doing Top Gear in Bolton a few years ago when I bumped into him, he told me what he was doing and to come down, so I did.”

Recently, Paddy posted a picture of himself dressed up with a retro look about him as he said: “Backstage at the Take Me Out 80’s special. The board behind me is where we’d put the pics and bios up of the lads who were about to be thrown into the dating arena.”
