A badly smashed up vehicle was seen driving through the streets of Bolton.
Police claimed came across an Astra with its front drivers side very badly damaged on Halliwell Road.
The problem was so bad that the inside of the vehicle could be seen.
Officers say after police spotted the damaged state of the vehicle they asked the driver to pull over and give an explanation.
The drive failed to do so but did not get very far and shortly after gave up.
Poice have said the motorist admitted they did not have a licence or insurance to be behind the wheel.

A police spokesperson said what happened as a result of the incident.
They said: "The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported to court."
