A road in Bolton will be closed next week.

The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on the back of Hawthorne Road from Hawthorne Street to Mount St Josephs Road to allow water works to take place.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
