A variety of activities are taking place across Bolton to mark World Book Day next month.
World Book Day will take place on March 2.
At Bolton Library and Museum there will be a selection of classic stories told by storytellers, with a special guest appearance.
It will start from 4pm onwards and be ran at the library in Crompton Place Shopping Centre.
Harwood Library will be putting on a range of storytelling game from 2.30pm-4.30pm.
Children can also turn up in fancy dress to celebrate.
It is a free session and there is no need to pre book.
And finally, Bolton Museum will be holding their very own catwalk with their costume parade from 11pm on Saturday March 4.
Prizes will be awarded by judges for the most innovative and unique costumes.
All of the events listed except the World Book Day Costume Parade will take place on Thursday March 2.
