Free adult gardening sessions are being held in Little Lever this month.

It is a chance for residents to learn new gardening skills including planting seedlings, growing their own fruit, vegetables, and herbs, and gardening in containers and small spaces.

The sessions also help teach how to reduce waste by recycling and reducing food waste.

All participants will be able to take their plants home, and all materials will be provided.

The weekly lessons will take place for 5 weeks, from Tuesday February 28 from 1.30pm to 2.30pm at Little Lever Library.

Bookings for the other sessions will be listed on the Eventbrite page.

These sessions are organised by Bolton Library and Museum Services and Groundwork Greater Manchester and are taking place across Bolton.

For any booking enquiries email askboltonlibraries@bolton.gov.uk, and for any questions, email lucy.rodgers@groundwork.org.uk or suzanne.walton@groundwork.org.uk.
