Students have certainly changed over the years, or at last their dress sense has, if this photo is anything to go by.
It was taken in April, 1951 and shows two students from Bolton’s Municipal School of Art taking advantage of a crisp spring day to sketch at Hall-i’th-Wood, which the Bolton Evening News said at the time was “always an attractive pictorial subject”.
