Two Bolton School Junior Boys’ School pupils have been demonstrating their sporting prowess in recent competitions.
Year six pupil at the school, Ashton Morrissey, represented Bolton with distinction at the Greater Manchester Cross Country Championships.
Ashton finished in 14th place overall out of 99 runners and was the second finisher for the Bolton team. The Bolton team finished in 5th position overall.
Teacher Mrs Brisk said: “Well done to Ashton for representing Bolton and running a brilliant race, we are all very proud of you at Bolton Sport and at Park Road.”
Also showing his abilities recently was Louis Greenbaum, a Year 3 pupil.
He enjoyed a successful weekend at the Taekwondo-du T-UK English Championships in Manchester, winning silver medals in the under eights pattern and sparring categories.
