A pupil from Bolton School Boys' Division has made a splash in the world of swimming.
Ethan Blyth, who is in Year Seven at the school, is ranked among the country's finest young swimmers.
Ethan has just finished competing in the Lancashire County Swimming Championships where, over the course of the last three weekends of racing, he has won seven gold, two silver, and three bronze medals in total.

Ethan said: "I have been swimming since a young age but only in the past two-and-a-half years have I been taking part competitively.
"My goal for this year is to break into the top three."
