Young writers have been letting their creative juices flow by entering a competition.
Pupils at junior boys at Bolton School have entered the Young Writers’ A Twist in the Tale – Amazing Creations writing competition.
Despite thousands of entries being received from across the country, all of the work submitted by the Park Road pupils was accepted for publication.
Each boy who entered received a certificate and bookmark.
The collection of work will be published on March 17.

A spokesman from Young Writers said: "Having all your pupils’ work chosen is something to be proud of, it doesn’t happen every day.
"I was impressed by their writing and its clear that you have really inspired them with A Twist in the Tale."
Young Writers was established in 1991 with the intention of inspiring children to become confident and passionate writers.
