Bolton Lads and Girls Club showcased the work that is being done to help young people to Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham.
He was joined by Bernie Brown Director of Children’s Services for Bolton Council and Councillor Martyn Cox, leader of Bolton Council.
The Mayor of Greater Manchester was shown round the newly revamped centre named Infinity.
Beth Maunder, the service manager of mental health and wellbeing at the club said “It was great to be a part of a conversation that understands our vision for young people and their families.

“Being able to identify needs and then put support in place is pivotal to what we do and can only be strengthened by the relationships we have in Bolton and across Greater Manchester.”

Mr Burnham discussed with the charity the challenges they are facing as demand for their services increases.
Beth said: “We were all thrilled to get such a positive response from the Mayor. Although we don’t do what we do for appreciation – we do it to strive for the best outcomes for our children, young people, and families, it still really means a lot.”
