Legendary EastEnders star Jessie Wallace is reportedly getting ready to walk down the aisle after her carpenter boyfriend proposed.

The actress plays the icon Kat Slater on the soap and has seen Wallace engaged and married multiple times as the once-landlady.

However, it will be the first time that Wallace will be a bride off-screen, after reports that her boyfriend Justin Gallwey popped the big question.

The exciting news comes after the EastEnders actress was seen wearing an engagement ring whilst out shopping in North London.

As The Sun claims the couple are expected to marry after at least a year together.

The couple had previously created confusion among fans after hinting they had already tied the knot.

After Wallace posted a photo of the pair, writing the caption ‘My Hubby’, seeing co-stars comment ‘So happy for you both’ and ‘You look so happy’.

Fans were quick to share their excitement but the couple denied the rumours as Gallwey said it was “just a term of endearment”.

On EastEnders, Wallace has seen herself married and engaged a fair few times, after being married to Alfie Moon played by Shane Richie twice, engaged to Phil Mitchell played by Steve McFadden and was once engaged to Andy Hunter played by Michael Higgs.
