Stolen farm equipment and vehicles were recovered by police after thieves targeted a farm near Darwen.
Police said a farmer woke this morning (Tuesday February 7) to discover thieves had stolen a Bob Cat and an Ifor Williams horse box overnight.
Rossendale Rural Task Force identified the van used in the theft and discovered it had false number plates.
Officers tracked the van on CCTV to Bolton and entered a site where they found the Ifor Williams horse box and the Bob Cat.

A police spokesperson said: “With assistance from colleagues at Greater Manchester police we recovered another stolen Ifor Williams trailer, the van used in the farm burglary, power tools stolen from another burglary, a stolen caravan and a diesel pumping kit.
“The seized items will be examined by CSI and the investigation as to who is responsible has begun. This type of crime has a massive impact on the victim who lives in an isolated farm.
“We are committed to disrupting and bringing to justice travelling criminals who target the rural communities of Lancashire.”
