Pupils at Ladybridge Primary School have been treated to visits from inspirational people as part of the schools "Aspirations Week".
The young people benefitted from hearing about the experiences of local politicians, police officers, engineers, future astronauts, and adventurers.
Personal development lead at the Ladybridge, Emma Walsh, said: “The children had a jammed packed day, there were so many inspiring visitors from different professions.”
“The children came into school dressed up as what they want to be when they're older - it was great to see the wide range of jobs that our children aspire to be.”
Makbul Patel, a borough contestant from The Great British Bake Off, delivered an assembly on his dreams and aspirations and how he achieved them.
An assembly was also delivered by Anna Stishova, who does canoeing and paddling marathons and adventures.

She frequently paddles at the weekends, mostly on Bridgewater Canal or on club trips at Lake District.
She also goes to paddle sessions on Monday evenings at Bolton Canoe Club.
She spoke to the children about persevering and not letting gender or religion stop in the way of one’s dreams.
Bolton mayor Cllr Akhtar Zaman visited each key stage two class and talked about how he became Mayor and what his job involves.
The children were also able to ask him questions about his role.
Mark Flannery from Greater Manchester Police also visited the younger classes in key stage one and explained what it is like to be in the force.

Year two and three pupils also had a Zoom call with Emma Lucas, a chief engineer on yachts.
She has worked at sea for more than 24 years, on a range of different boats, ships, and yachts.
And pupils in year five and six took part in a Zoom call with Anisa Qureshi, who studied at International Space University and trained by astronauts.
Although not an astronaut herself, she has aspirations to be one and has lots of knowledge in this area.
