The university and library are once again joining forces for a new season of  live literature events.

The University of Bolton's English and Creative Writing department are to partner with Bolton Library and Museum Services to host a range of free events across the next three months looking at a range of texts.

For the first event on Tuesday, February 7, Bolton Library and Museum Services will welcome Pulitzer Prize-shortlisted US poet A. E. Stallings to read from her first UK publication, ‘This Afterlife: Selected Poems’.

According to the library it will be an unmissable event with a poet whom the New Yorker has described as one of "formal ingenuity, crafting clever yet profound meditations on love, motherhood, language and time".

And then Bolton Library and Museum Services will present The Illustrated Woman on April 18.

Poet, novellist and memoirist Helen Mort will read from her work.

Everyone is welcome to join in at Bolton Central Museum theatre.

Entry is free, no need to book.
