A motocross biker is desperate to find land to use as a track for young people to ride on.
Daniel Rae first opened the LDR MotoX track on Irlam Farm in Westhoughton in May 2022 but he says noise complaints put an end to that.
Since then, Daniel has been left without a site for his race track and wishes to find a site anywhere in the North West.
He said: "I am very passionate about the sport of motocross, which offers so many benefits to young people when it is done in a safe and well-managed environment.
“I have a number of ideas to grow the business as well as creating new opportunities to work with colleges and universities to teach mechanical skills and help young people into work.
“After seeking advice from the council, I am now looking for a new location to rent in the North West and Ribble Valley area and would welcome any suggestions from landowners or members of the public.”
The track in Irlam has been open and shut in the past before Daniel took over, but the biking fanatic wishes to simply provide an avenue for young people to do it legally.
He said: “Whilst Bolton Council have assisted me where they can there is a limit to what they can do.
“I have contacted a number of landowners but would welcome contact from any other landowners in the general area or anybody who can suggest people for me to contact in relation to the land.

“As well as anyone who has experience on the administrative procedures to assist in finding and setting up a new track.
“My passion for the sport as well as my commitment to working with local communities for the wider good is driving me to make this work.”
The 35-year-old opened a bike shop in Longridge first, opening it at the track later on.
He said: “I have a number of ideas on how to see the business grow and diversify and would welcome any help putting this into practice. My contact details can be found on my website.”
