A Bolton-based charity that has made 48 trips into war-torn Ukraine, delivering vital medical and humanitarian aid, is calling on businesses to support its forthcoming fundraiser.

As well as helping those affected by the war, Veteran’s Army also supports former service people and families suffering from PTSD, and those who have fallen into addiction, homelessness, or unemployment.

The Annual Veteran’s Masquerade Ball will take place Saturday, March 11 at 7am at Bolton Masonic Hall and will be hosted in conjunction with The Darren Deady Foundation, a team of veterans and experienced volunteers that help families and general people in need from local communities.

The event is already sold out with more than 100 people expected to be in attendance.

Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, a three-course meal and champagne on arrival, as well as a raffle and an auction.

Veteran’s Army founder and former soldier, Ryan Yates, said: ‘We’re really looking forward to this year’s event, it’s been a huge 12 months so it’s only right we acknowledge our achievements.

“We’re so proud to have provided almost £2,000,000 in aid to Ukraine. Having said that, there’s still so much work to be done and this is where we need help from local businesses."
