A woman has expressed her upset as she battles with her social housing landlord to resolve a mould problem in her home which she says is getting worse.
Michelle Harris, 50, has lived at the property on Tithe Barn Crescent, Hall i' th' Wood for 26 years.
And last March she requested help as mould emerged near the spot above her front door.
She said contract workers hired by landlords Bolton at Home arrived at her property in April and was told they fixed the problem, but that month it got worse.
The mould has now spread across the front of the entrance to her home.
Michelle says she last had a contractor round on January 5, but has been unable to escalate the matter with Bolton at Home since then.
She said: “They replaced the flashing on the roof but there is still water getting in the building.
“I have told them it is a problem with the flashing, they say it is a problem with the pointing.
“The contractor said he would throw a bucket to prove what the issue was.
“He said he had thrown it down, I didn’t see it, no water came down them but it came down later that day.
“I have asked for a different contractor but they say they only have two, they run 27,000 homes."

Michelle has been left upset by the living conditions she has had to endure.
She added: “The smell is bad and I have put a mask on. I have had an itchy nose too.
“I have been in tears.
“I have rung them and I’ve said I’ll sort it myself.
“They have said you can’t do that.
“I have put a complaint in but I want to put in a complaint about the complaint’s team.”
In response, Bolton at Home’s group director of property maintenance, Richard Hargreaves, said: “We’ve visited our customer’s home and inspected this entrance area.
"We found evidence of a leak from its roof, which hadn’t been repaired right first time by a specialist contractor.
"We’ll put this right as soon as possible to prevent any further issues with water ingress.
"We’ll also check to ensure there are no such issues with any living spaces.”
