Bolton Mountain Rescue Team (BMRT) joined teams from Lancashire to help with a rescue to round off a busy weekend of action.
BMRT joined its sister teams from Rossendale and Pendle to to assist with "the rescue of a casualty on Pendle Hill" on Sunday, January 29.

This is the second weekend in a row that BMRT's skills have been required.
A team of 18 members assisted North West Ambulance Service with someone who had a suspected dislocated knee at Rivington Pike last Sunday morning, January 22.
This weekend, the team also underwent training and maintenance days to keep their skills and equipment finely tuned.
"Four team members undertook off-road driver training at Cowm Quarry consisting of evening theory session followed by one day of practical experience and instruction," a spokesperson said.

"Thank you to Cowm for allowing the use of their invaluable facility."
The spokesperson added: "Team members also undertook our monthly maintenance day which is the chance for to clean and wash our vehicles, our base, and to check equipment."
