People in Bolton are being offered financial assistance during the cost of living crisis.
The Government's Money Skills team is available to assist residents.
People can get advice on budgeting, savings on gas and electric and warm home discounts.
A spokesman said: “We are seeing an increase in referrals for debt advice so the wait for an appointment is longer than usual."
But he added referrals are still being taken and running telephone appointments. Face-to-face appointments can also be requested.
Money Advice can be contacted by calling 01204 332916 or moneyadvice@bolton.gov.uk
The Money Talks team can also give advice on energy savings, helping people to find the cheaper deals.

For the last two years Money Skills were given funding from the Household Support Fund that used to provide residents with various items to stay warm in winter.
A spokesman said: “We are aware of new funding becoming available the details are still being finalised.
“Once we have the go ahead we will be sure to advertise it and spread the word so we can help as many people as possible.”
