The recently reopened bar and café in the Albert Halls is now serving food.
The Albert Bar began offering drinks to theatre goers and passers-by in November last year.
Now people in Bolton town centre can also enjoy some food at the venue which has been at the heart of the Bolton’s cultural life for over 100 years, hosting a variety of concerts, shows and civic events.
Currently, visitors to the Albert Bar can choose from toast with butter and jam, cheese on toast, croissants, and a variety of cakes.
And although it is not just open to people attending events at the historic halls, ticketholders do get a 10 per cent discount on hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks.

Bolton Council deputy leader, Cllr Hilary Fairclough, said: “We have had some great feedback since re-opening the Albert Bar in November last year, with visitors enjoying the historic setting and convenient central location.
“It also offers the opportunity to book tickets at our new box office, with a wide range of shows available for comedy and drama to music and dance.
“I am sure The Albert Bar’s new menu will bring even more visitors to the town centre to experience everything Bolton’s Albert Halls venue has to offer.”
The Albert Bar was originally opened by renowned chef Paul Heathcote as a restaurant.
However, with Covid putting a halt to the hospitality sector, the it was forced to close just six months after opening.

Cllr Fairclough has previously mentioned that, although the venture will begin small, there are “a few ideas of how to grow it”.
“One idea could be pop ups, where chefs can come from outside and do their own thing for a bit of exposure,” she added.
“We might also look at getting someone in permanently to take it on as a restaurant.”
Albert Bar and Café is open between 10am and 4pm Wednesday to Saturday.
