Police have arrested two people in connection with the crash on Halliwell Road on Saturday, January 28.
One person was arrested yesterday, which has now been followed by a second.
The pair were arrested "on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving" a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson confirmed today.
Both have subsequently been released on bail "pending further investigations," it was added.

The crash between three vehicles happened opposite Lloyds Bank at 9.05pm.
Three people were injured in the incident - two with minor injuries and one who was in a critical condition.
A GMP spokesperson says that they understand a driver remains in a critical condition.
A vehicle travelling along Halliwell Road towards Moss Bank Way is believed to have collided with a second vehicle turning onto Halliwell Road, and a third stationary, unoccupied vehicle.
Two people believed to be passengers in another are described as having sustained minor injuries.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident - or may have dashcam or doorbell footage - to please share it with GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU).
