A soothing 'sound bath session' is taking place this weekend to help people release the stress of the week.
Sound baths offer a meditative experience where people can be “bathed” in sound waves.
All of the sound vibrations are produced using instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, and more.
The sounds are intended to provide a relaxing experience.
The session will take place on Friday, February 3 from 7pm-8.30pm.
It will take place at the empower Wellness Centre on Lee Lane in Horwich.
The centre offers a wide range of wellness workshops, classes, and courses including meditation, reiki and yoga.
A spokesperson said: “We believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to wellness and that everyone should have access to affordable classes and therapies that promote a happier and healthier, balanced lifestyle.”
Tickets cost £8 each and can be booked on their website here (www.empowerwellnesscentre.co.uk).
