Officers in Manchester City Centre stopped what looked to be Batman driving around and over revving his engine last night (Friday).

However, he didn’t get very far after police discovered the car was uninsured and the Batmobile was subsequently seized.

The driver ended up leaving in a less than impressive bus back home.

A spokesperson for GMP Traffic said: “We saw this Batman Wannabee over revving his engine whilst driving round the city tonight.

“However, Alfred forgot to insure the fake Dark Knight's ride, so we did the Joker a favour and seized the Batmobile.

“'KA-POW 'he's now on the bus back to Wayne Manor.”
