A man was taken to hospital after a medical episode last night.
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that officers were called to the aid of a man suffering a medical episode at Leverhulme Park at around 10pm last night (Thursday 26).
The man was taken to hospital for treatment, his current condition is unknown.
An eyewitness said they saw ‘seven police cars and vans’ near to the Powerleague Bolton football pitch just after 10pm.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “This was a medical episode of a man and as is the case for most of the time, officers are first responders and trained to give vital first-aid.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment with the latest condition of him unclear.”
North West Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
