We've rounded up a number of Bolton cases heard by magistrates recently - read on to find out who's been in the dock.
Restraining order
A man was fined after breaching a restraining order in Bolton.
Christopher Constantine, 40 of Cecila Street, Great Lever, admitted to Bolton Magistrates Court that he had breached the order between February 1 and September 23 last year.
He was ordered to pay a total of £199.
Speeding
A man from Bolton was fined after speeding.
David Lui, 44 of Central Avenue, Farnworth admitted to Bolton Magistrates Court that he had driven at 50mph, above the speed limit of 40mph, on the A635 Mancunian Way on January 30 last year.
He had initially pleaded not guilty but changed his plea to guilty.
Lui was ordered to pay a total of £100.
Criminal damage
A man was given a community order and told to pay compensation after committing an assault and criminal damage in Bolton.
Graham Morris, 41 of Firwood Grove, Bolton, admitted to Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court that he committed the assault on September 29 last year.
That same day he committed criminal damage by destroying doors, glasses and a kitchen area.
Morris was fined £120, ordered to pay compensation of £100 and told to complete 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
Scented candles
A man was ordered to pay compensation and given a community order after assaulting another man and stealing scented candles in Bolton.
Andrew Stuart Baines, 42 of Bradford Street, admitted to Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court that he assaulted the man on May 7 last year and stole £30 worth of candles between April 29 and May 7.
He also admitted to failing to surrender to custody at the same court on November 23.
Baines was ordered to pay a total of £250 and given a 12 month community order with 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
Community order
A man has been ordered to carry out extra unpaid work after breaking the terms of a community order
Marius Kramarczyk, 39 of Alfred Street, Bolton, admitted to Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court that he had missed an appointment with probation services on June 21 last year and had also missed an unpaid work appointment on June 28.
These were part of an order handed down to him by the same court on May 30 last year.
Kramarczyk was ordered to compete and extra 30 hours of unpaid work on top of the 109 he had already been ordered to carry out.
Heroin
A woman has been given a conditional discharge after having heroin in her possession.
Denise Kay, 40 of Chorley New Road, Horwich, admitted to Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court that she had the Class A drug in her possession on May 22 last year.
She was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a surcharge of £26.
Magistrates also ordered that the heroin be destroyed.
Exposure
A man has been jailed after exposing himself in Bolton.
Aymal Ali, 35 of no fixed abode, initially pleaded not guilty at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court to indecent exposure in Bolton on August 13 last year.
But he was found guilty in absence.
Ali also admitted to failing to surrender to police or court bail on November 18.
He was jailed for a total of 12 weeks and required to register with police for the next seven years.
Drug driving
A man has been banned from the roads after drug driving in Bolton.
Thomas Haywood, 32 of Cheriton Gardens, Horwich, admitted to Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court that he had driven on Greenstone Avenue on Sunday July 17 last year with Benzoylecgonine in his blood stream.
That same day he had also been uninsured and did not have a proper licence.
Haywood was banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay £120.
