A repeat offender from Bolton has been jailed after driving while disqualified and resisting arrest.
Tazeem Saqib drove a car on Chellow Grange road, Bradford, in October 2021.
He did so while disqualified and also without insurance.
On the same occasion he ostructed the police officer in the execution of his duty who attempted to arrest him.
Saqib, 41, admitted the three offences when he appeared at the Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court.
Following this he was sent to prison for a period of 12 weeks.
The reasons given was that he has a "flagrant disregard for court orders" and "the offence was aggravated by the defendant's record of previous offending."
Saqib, from Castle Street, Bolton, was also banned from holding or obtaining a driving licence for a period of 26 months.
The court took the guilty pleas he entered to the three offences into account when it was determining the sentence which it would impose.
