Fundraisers will be taking a dip into a freezing cold lake for a Bolton charity next month.
The Big Dip for Bolton Hospice will be taking place on February 18 this year at Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club, in which fundraisers will be jumping into an ice-cold lake.
The fundraiser, which will take place from noon on the day, will be supervised by cold water expert Ryan Abbott of Urban Ice Tribe.
Cold water dips are said to help build mental resilience, raise mood, boost energy, bulletproof the immune system and lower stress levels.
The session will include breathing and meditation techniques to allow you to understand the best way to enter the water.
Early bird tickets are currently available for £25, and they will be £35 thereafter.
