Healthwatch Bolton is conducting a survey about accessing a dentist.
The organisation wants to hear from people struggling to get an appointment.
An online survey has been set up.
Results will be fed back to the health select committee and aim to bring about improvements.
The survey can be completed online or people can call 01204 394603 if they would rather answer the questions this way.
People will be asked whether they have access to a dentist in Bolton, whether NHS or private.
They will then be asked who needs access if they do not have it, such as children, or someone being cared for.
The survey will ask whether people have taken certain self-care measures, and how difficult is it to get appointments and treatment.
If will also ask whether people who about the urgent dental care service and whether being unable to get dental care has affected physical or mental health.
