Parts of Bolton have fallen within a yellow weather warning set out by the Met Office this morning.
A yellow warning for snow and ice means that the weather forecaster believes that snow showers and icy stretches may cause some disruption.
What to expect
- Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and, train services
- Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
- Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths
This yellow warning covers the most western parts of Bolton, such as Horwich.
Bus operator Arriva North West has already warned of cancellations and delays to some of its services.
