Paddy McGuinness has expressed his love for mountain biking on an electric bike as he took it for a ride through Bolton.
The Bolton comedian took to Instagram to reveal that he was officially a fan and had gone riding in Bolton in the foggy morning.
He said in his caption: “After a lot of research I’ve finally converted! I’m now a fully fledged member of the Mountain-e club.
“I’d put it off for a while, wrongly thinking you just pushed a button and off the bike goes?
“I didn’t see the point? Bikes are for exercise! Now I understand how they work, the different levels and the fact that you still have to pedal.
“Thoroughly enjoyed my day out with the cuddly toys today and putting this electric beauty through a boggy Bolton test drive.
“Roll on more adventures, if you’ve got one let me know in the comments. Boost mode baby!”
Paddy followed his words up with a video showing the bike and later himself riding it along with a group of other people.
People took to the comments to talk about their own experiences with electric bikes.
One said: “Love mine, use it for work along with my gravel bike and in better weather my carbon road bike, still too many people don’t understand how they work and think it’s cheating, but you can make it as hard or as easy as you want.”
But perhaps the top comment was from now retired cyclist, a six-time Olympic champion and newly turned racing driver, Sir Chris Hoy, who said: “So what I’m seeing is, you’ve no excuses now to not come out on another ride with me.”
Paddy also recently shocked fans while posting a video of himself on the toilet moaning about the lack of privacy his cat gave him.
In the video, Paddy’s cat can be seen ambling around the bathroom as Paddy complains "nothing is sacred".
The video was posted on Thursday and since then Paddy has been posting a lot of funny content.
Earlier this month, Paddy told people to take down their Christmas decorations as they were still up on January 5.
