Free junior cricket training is being offered this month for children aged 5-13.
As part of Farnworth Cricket Club’s recruitment drive children will be able to try cricket for free.
Parents must register their interest for their children before attendance, and the offer is only available to those who register to represent the club for the 2023 season and beyond.
There are also opportunities in the club’s junior teams at the follow ages: Under 9s (softball cricket), under 11s, and under 13s.
It will take place at Essa Sports Academy on Sundays from 10am-1pm.
The first session will start on January 22 for 10 weeks.
Fully qualified coaches will be running the classes.
